MEET THE FOUNDER
 Alex King
Alex King is the founder and director of King Lacrosse and the Head Coach of the Weymouth High School Girls Varsity Lacrosse team.
​
A proud Weymouth native, Alex was a three-sport athlete at Weymouth High School, competing in lacrosse, volleyball, and gymnastics. She served as a junior captain for both the girls' volleyball and girls' lacrosse teams, demonstrating her leadership and commitment to her teammates from an early age. As a lacrosse player, Alex became a Weymouth High School record holder before continuing her collegiate career at Bridgewater State University, where she also established program records. She was recognized as one of the top offensive players in the MASCAC.

Alex earned her bachelor's degree from Bridgewater State University, where she studied Criminal Justice and Communications. Following graduation, she pursued her passion for aesthetics by attending LaBelle Beauty Academy in Miami, Florida, before completing advanced training as a Certified Laser Technician. She later attended Quincy College, where she earned her nursing degree.

In 2026, Alex founded King Lacrosse with a vision of providing high-level instruction, mentorship, and unforgettable experiences for girls across the South Shore. Through elite coaching, competitive training, and a passion for growing the game, King Lacrosse is committed to developing not only better lacrosse players, but confident young women both on and off the field.

Athletics have always been at the center of Alex's life. She comes from a family deeply rooted in sports, with generations of coaches, collegiate athletes, professional hockey and lacrosse players, scouts, and leaders who have dedicated their lives to the game.
​
Growing up in this environment taught Alex the value of hard work, discipline, leadership, and giving back to the next generation of athletes. Those lessons continue to shape the culture of King Lacrosse today.

For Alex, coaching isn't just a profession—it's a family tradition. She is proud to carry on a legacy of developing young athletes while helping grow girls' lacrosse throughout the South Shore.
